Early results give Kyrgyz president 89 pct of vote

BISHKEK, July 24 (Reuters) - Incumbent Kurmanbek Bakiyev had 89.4 percent of votes in Kyrgyzstan's presidential election after a quarter of the votes had been counted, the central election commission said on Friday.

Challenger Almazbek Atambayev, who said Thursday's election was marred by fraud, had 5.9 percent of the votes counted so far, the commission said.
