TBILISI, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent states amounts to an annexation by Moscow of Georgian territory, Georgia's deputy foreign minister said on Tuesday.

"This is an unconcealed annexation of these territories, which are a part of Georgia," said Giga Bokeria.
