MOSCOW, Aug 26 (Reuters) - The delivery of relief supplies to Georgia by U.S. warships does not make the situation more stable, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.

"This raises some questions because normally battleships do not deliver aid and battleship diplomacy, or battleship humanitarian diplomacy, does not make the situation more stable," Lavrov told a conference call with reporters.
