Hamas says Israel bombs mosque, causing casualties

GAZA, Dec 27 (Reuters) - Hamas said Israel bombed a mosque on Saturday in Gaza City and that there were casualties from the attack.

The assault was the latest of a series of Israeli air strikes on Gaza that have killed 227 Palestinians in a 12-hour period.
