ANTANANARIVO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Firefighters have found 25 charred bodies in a looted department store in the centre of Madagascar's capital, a day after some of the worst scenes of street violence the country has witnessed in years.

"I can confirm we have found 25 bodies. They are burnt beyond recognition and will be hard to identify," a senior fire officer told Reuters. (Reporting by Richard Lough; editing by Elizabeth Piper)
