Sept 29 (Reuters) - A car bomb destroyed a bus carrying soldiers in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli on Monday, killing at least five people and wounding 35 in the second attack on the army in seven weeks, security sources said. Here is a chronology of recent attacks on security forces: 2007 May 20 - Sunni militants of Fatah al-Islam group based in Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared near Tripoli attack army posts and vehicles, killing more than 20 soldiers. Sept. 2 - Lebanese troops take control of Nahr al-Bared after 15 weeks of fighting in which at least 430 people were killed, including 170 soldiers overall. Dec. 12 - Car bomb kills Brigadier General Francois al-Hajj, the army's head of operations, and a bodyguard in Christian town east of Beirut. 2008 Jan. 25 - Bomb kills Wisam Eid, a captain in a police intelligence unit, and five other people in mainly Christian east Beirut. Aug. 13 - Bomb kills 15 people, including 10 soldiers, at bus stop in Tripoli. No group claims responsibility. Sept. 29 - Car bomb blast hits bus in Tripoli, killing five people, four of them soldiers. (Editing by Keith Weir)
