BOGOTA, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Colombian rebels plan to hand over four hostages soon to a humanitarian commission once security conditions are guaranteed, a FARC commander and a journalist told Telesur television channel on Sunday.

Jorge Enrique Botero, a journalist traveling with the commission, said military operations had complicated the handover. The FARC planned to release three captive police officers and one soldier as a humanitarian gesture.
