NEW YORK, Sept 1 (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said on Monday it would waive certain quality standards for gasoline in Texas to ensure adequate supply in the wake of Hurricane Gustav.

The move comes after the EPA granted a similar waiver to Louisiana last week, a spokesman for the EPA said. (Reporting by Richard Valdmanis)
