SAN FRANCISCO, June 8 (Reuters) - A U.S. district court judge sentenced a 21-year-old man on Friday to two years in prison for burning a wooden cross outside a Catholic Church in northern California to threaten a priest from Rwanda. William Ridenour also will face three years of court supervision after his release for violating the priest's civil rights by burning the cross, an act associated with Ku Klux Klan ceremonies and intimidation by the racist group. Ridenour's sentencing follows the 21-month prison term given on Monday to 18-year-old accomplice Nicholas Edward Craig. The two men from Westwood, California, had admitted they burned the cross to intimidate the priest because of his race, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California.
