BOSTON, Jan 9 (Reuters) - A commuter train struck a construction truck north of Boston on Tuesday, killing two people and seriously injuring a third, Boston's ABC television affiliate reported. The accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. at the Salem Street Bridge in Woburn, about 12 miles (19.3 km) north of Boston, ABC's Channel 5 said. Live television showed ambulances at the scene and the twisted metal strewn over the tracks. Boston's WBZ radio said the two people killed and the one injured were workers conducting maintenance on the track.
