BOGOTA, July 9 (Reuters) - Colombian authorities said on Thursday they are are investigating death threats posted on social networking Internet site Facebook against one of the sons of popular conservative President Alvaro Uribe. "I commit myself to killing Jeronimo Uribe, son of Alvaro Uribe," the message said. Uribe's children are heavily guarded as a matter of policy in this country plagued by decades of guerrilla war and the world's most active cocaine trade. "We have to take this very seriously," said Felipe Munoz, head of Colombia's state intelligence service, known by its Spanish initials DAS. The message said the purpose of killing the president's son would be to make his family "feel the horror of the war in its soul." (Reporting by Luis Jaime Acosta; editing by Todd Eastham)
