WASHINGTON, Jan 9 (Reuters) - A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the Oregon coast at 8:37 p.m. EST on Wednesday (0137 GMT Thursday), the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The temblor was located 151 miles (243 km) west-northwest of Barview, Oregon, at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), the USGS said.
