Eight dead in Mexico helicopter crash

MEXICO CITY, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Eight people were killed on Friday when a government helicopter carrying aid volunteers crashed in central Mexico, local authorities said. The helicopter was carrying five female volunteers working with the state government of Puebla, including the wife of the state's interior minister, the local government said in a statement. The two pilots and a state interior ministry official were also killed. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear. (Reporting by Robin Emmott; editing by Mohammad Zargham)
