(Adds jewelry, bunk bed, teether recalls) WASHINGTON, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Dollar Tree Stores Inc <DLTR.O> recalled 300,000 baby bead toys and toy cars made in China because they contain excessive levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday. The recalled baby toy has colored beads that slide on a wooden platform, while the recalled Speed Racer Pull Back & Go cars are yellow with black stripes and white with red stripes, the government agency said in a statement. The baby bead toys were sold nationwide from March 2007 through October 2007, while the cars were sold from September 2007 through November 2007, it said. The CPSC also issued a recall for about 1,000 pieces of Chinese-made Codeena Princess children's metal jewelry because it contains high levels of lead. If ingested, lead can cause developmental delays and behavioral disorders in children. The recalled jewelry was sold in a variety of sets including pink or white pearl-like necklace, bracelet and earring or ring combinations. Some sets have studded charms dangling on the bracelet and the necklace. The jewelry from Codee International Corp of Northvale, New Jersey, was sold at discount stores nationwide from September 2005 through August 2007 for about $5. Hooker Furniture Corp <HOFT.O> recalled on Thursday about 1,300 bunk beds because gaps between parts of the upper bunk pose an entrapment or strangulation hazard. The recalled beds were made in Malaysia and Vietnam and come with the model names "Albany Park," "Swedish Accents," "Mariner's Landing" and "Chelsea's Place." They were sold at Hooker Furniture retailers nationwide from August 2005 through August 2007 for about $1,000. Infantino LLC of San Diego recalled on Thursday about 28,000 Chinese-made infant teethers with a lion's head on them because the plastic nose can detach, posing a choking hazard. Infantino has received eight reports of the nose detaching, including one report of a child gagging on the bitten off nose, the CPSC said. The teethers were sold at Babies "R" Us, Pottery Barn Kids and other specialty stores nationwide from June 2006 through December 2007 for about $5.
