SANTIAGO, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold Inc. <FCX.N> said Thursday its majority-owned El Abra copper mine was back to normal operations after a quake a day earlier knocked out its power supplies.

A Freeport-McMoran spokesman said full power had returned to El Abra by 10 p.m. local time (0100 GMT) Wednesday. The company said it was still evaluating the effects of the quake stoppage. (Reporting by Pav Jordan; Editing by John Picinich)
