BLACKSBURG, Va., April 18 (Reuters) - The gunman who killed 32 people in a shooting rampage at Virginia Tech sent photographs and some writings to NBC, Steven Flaherty, Virginia state police superintendent, said on Wednesday. MSNBC, an affiliate of NBC, said the material included video and a many-page statement which appeared to have been sent between the two separate shooting incidents on the campus of Virginia Tech university on Monday. He declined to give details about the documents, but a university official said they had been received by NBC in New York on Wednesday morning. Two people, a male and a female, were killed in a student dorm in the first shooting and 30 people were killed, some of them executed at close range, in a classroom building on the campus about two hours later. Flaherty, speaking to reporters, said NBC had immediately handed the material over to the FBI.
