SAN FRANCISCO, April 20 (Reuters) - Officials evacuated a high school in Parker, Colorado, on Friday after hearing an explosion behind the school that did not injure anyone, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office said.

Deputy Cocha Heyden said officials apprehended a suspect in the Ponderosa High School case after the morning explosion and found another explosive device in his possession.

The explosion came on the eighth anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colorado.
