Hurricane Gustav forms over central Caribbean - NHC

MIAMI, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Gustav reached hurricane strength with 80 mile-per-hour (120 km-per-hour) winds on Tuesday as it moved through the central Caribbean southeast of Haiti, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. (Reporting by Chris Wilson)
