CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., March 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. space shuttle Endeavour skipped its first opportunity for a Florida landing at 7:05 p.m. EDT (2305 GMT) on Wednesday because of clouds around the Kennedy Space Center, NASA officials said.

A second opportunity for a landing after the shuttle's 16-day mission to deliver part of a Japanese space laboratory to the International Space Station will be at 8:39 p.m. EDT (0039 GMT Thursday), with the spacecraft's descent starting about an hour earlier.
