U.S. Iraq study group reaches consensus

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A blue-ribbon panel of Democrats and Republicans examining alternatives to U.S. policy towards Iraq has reached a consensus agreement, co-chairman Lee Hamilton said Wednesay.

"We reached a consensus," he told the liberal Center for American Progress. But he refused to provide details saying results will be revealed at a news conference on Dec. 6.
