WASHINGTON, April 30 (Reuters) - A man and a woman in Virginia are the state's first two confirmed cases of H1N1 flu, the state health commissioner said on Thursday. The patients are an adult male from eastern Virginia and an adult female from central Virginia. Each had traveled to Mexico, both had mild illnesses, were not hospitalized and are recovering well, the commissioner said in a statement. Commissioner Karen Remley said the state expects to see more cases in Virginia given the size of its population, seasonal travel patterns and the ease with which the flu virus is spread.(Reporting by Deborah Charles, Editing by Sandra Maler)
