Baghdad car bomb targeting pilgrims kills 8-police

BAGHDAD, March 7 (Reuters) - A car bomb targeting police and Shi'ite pilgrims in southern Baghdad killed eight people on Wednesday, including seven pilgrims, a police source said.

It targeted police and pilgrims in the Baghdad district of Saidiya as they were heading to the holy city of Kerbala to commemorate Arbain.
