BEIJING, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Chinese and Russian rescuers have found a Russian tourist alive after he went missing with five compatriots and two guides during a canoeing trip in China's far west, Xinhua news agency said on Friday. Rescuers found bodies of three of the tourists last weekend. The survivor, whose name was not released, was found on the banks of the upper reaches of the Yurungkax River in the western region of Xinjiang, near the city of Hotan, the report said. China, with its vast deserts, mountains and forests, is attracting growing numbers of adventure tourists looking for unusual holiday destinations that have yet to be developed.
