BEIJING, Jan 27 (Reuters) - A fire at an illegal plastic recycling workshop in south China killed 13 people and injured five, state media reported on Saturday. Eighteen people were rescued from the blaze, which broke out early on Friday at a four-storey building in Yangwu village in China's southern Guangdong province, but five later died in hospital, Xinhua news agency said. "The four-storey building was owned by a villager surnamed He, who leased the first and second floors of the building to an unlicensed workshop in the plastic reclamation and processing business," Xinhua said. Police had arrested the owners of the building and workshop and were investigating the cause of the fire, it said.
