BEIJING, May 12 (Reuters) - Buildings at five more schools in China's southwestern Sichuan province collapsed on Monday in a big earthquake, burying unknown numbers of elementary and middle school children, state television said.

The official Xinhua news agency had said earlier that about 900 middle school students were buried when their school building in Sichuan's Dujiangyan district collapsed. (Reporting by Guo Shipeng and Jason Subler; Editing by Nick Macfie)
