China confirms new human bird flu case- Xinhua

BEIJING, March 1 (Reuters) - A farmer in China's southeastern province of Fujian has been infected with the H5N1 form of bird flu, the official Xinhua news agency said.

The 44-year-old woman is being treated in hospital, Xinhua said in a report early on Thursday.
