BEIJING, April 13 (Reuters) - Three car accidents killed at least 20 people and injured about 60 in China on Friday with fog, tiredness and overloading held responsible, Chinese media reported.

A bus driven by a tired driver in the southern province of Guangdong ran into a truck which had stopped for repairs, killing nine people and injuring 19, the Chinese News Service said.

Six people died, including a French person, and six were injured when a bus overturned on a highway near Chengdu, capital of the southwestern province of Sichuan, Xinhua news agency said.

Five people died and 36 were injured in a pile-up of 52 vehicles in morning fog on a section of expressway running between Chengdu and neighbouring Chongqing, Xinhua said.

Fog, speeding and overloading were all to blame for that accident, it said.

China's roads are the deadliest in the world with accidents killing about 100,000 people a year.

Rain clouds hang over Bangkok skyscrapers May 2, 2007. U.N. talks on climate change are at risk of bogging down under the weight of hundreds of amendments from governments and China's objections to a proposed blueprint for battling global warming, a senior delegate said on Tuesday.
