SEOUL, May 31 (Reuters) - North Korea fired three short-range missiles off its west coast on Friday, the South's Yonhap news agency said on Saturday, citing government officials.

The North conducted a similar launch in March in what analysts said was a display of anger at Washington and a new conservative government in Seoul that taken a tough line toward its communist neighbour.

South Korean officials could not immediately confirm the report. (Reporting by Jon Herskovitz; Editing by David Fox)
