CHOSUN ILBO

- Samsung Electronics <005930.KS> said that it has developed a multi-performing chip for mobile devices called OneDRAM, as part of its "fusion memory world" scheme initiated by chief executive Hwang Chang-gyu.

- Pantech <063350.KS> creditors are likely to keep current management even under debt workout, creditor source says.

MAEIL BUSINESS NEWSPAPER

- Parliament discussing issuing 100,000 won note, likely from July 2008.

KOREA ECONOMIC DAILY

- Students are showing signs of food poisoning in Kangwon Province and North Cholla Province. No food poisoning cases were reported in Dec 2005, but for this year, 7 food poisoning cases were reported only in Dec.

- All high schools across the nation distributed the scores for the College Scholastic Ability Test determining college entrance in 2007, yesterday.

KOREA TIMES

- South Korea's population growth is projected to stagnate over the next 10 years, ranking at the world's bottom, because of its low birthrate and rapid population aging, according to the United Nations' data complied by the National Statistical Office.
