KABUL, April 14 (Reuters) - A suicide bomber blew himself up among a group of Afghan forces in the country's east on Saturday, killing some people, police and witnesses said. The were no immediate details of the number of dead and wounded in the attack in Khost. The Taliban have vowed to step up suicide bombings as fighting intensifies after the traditional winter lull. Last year was the bloodiest since the Taliban were ousted in 2001 and many expect this year to be worse. Several hundred civilians, scores of Taliban, dozens of Afghan forces, some aid workers and more than 30 Western troops have died so far this year.
