No bomb found in Indonesian parliament -police

(Adds quote from police, details) JAKARTA, March 25 (Reuters) - Indonesian police found no bomb at the parliament building in central Jakarta after they received a phone text message on Wednesday warning a device had been planted there, a spokesman said. "The information about the threat was received in a text message sent to a police office and police have been securing and checking the place," said Chrysnanda Dwilaksana, a spokesman for the Jakarta police. After about two hours, the bomb squad found no device in the area, Central Jakarta police chief Ike Edwin told Reuters, without elaborating. Police had earlier carried out a controlled explosion on a bag found in the area, Elshinta radio reported. Parliament is in recess until April 13, as Indonesia holds parliamentary elections on April 9, ahead of presidential elections on July 8.
