TOKYO, Jan 13 (Reuters) - An earthquake of preliminary 8.3 magnitude rocked the northern Pacific roughly east of the Kurile islands, prompting Japan to issue a tsunami warning for the eastern coast of its northernmost island of Hokkaido.
