WASHINGTON, Dec 7 (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush has no recollection of being told about CIA interrogation tapes and their destruction before he was briefed by the CIA director on Thursday, the White House said. "I asked the president about whether he knew about the tapes and their existence or their destruction, he said he had no recollection of that. He did not remember being made aware of those prior to yesterday morning," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said on Friday. (Reporting by Tabassum Zakaria; Editing by Patricia Wilson)
