WASHINGTON, July 9 (Reuters) - Iran's response last week to a revised package of incentives made by major powers over its nuclear program indicates Tehran is interested in finding "common ground," a senior U.S. official said on Wednesday. U.S. Under Secretary of State for political affairs William Burns told a House of Representatives panel the thrust of Iran's written and oral response was that it was interested in discussing the issue further. "Iran is interested in trying to find common ground ... We will see if the Iranians are serious," said Burns.(Reporting by Sue Pleming; Editing by Kristin Roberts)
