Clinton: US to discuss concerns on Israel settlements

WASHINGTON, June 17 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday reiterated opposition to new Israel settlements in the West Bank, but said Middle East envoy George Mitchell will have more discussions on "critical concerns" in upcoming talks with Israel. After a meeting with Clinton, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said his country could not accept "completely" freezing settlements. (Reporting by Deborah Charles, Editing by Stacey Joyce)
