The accident occurred at about 2:25 a.m. (1625 GMT on Wednesday) when a small cabin cruiser and a trawler collided near Bradley's Point, the Australian Associated Press news agency said. It quoted a police officer as saying all the victims appeared to be from the cruiser. The nine injured, three of whom were in critical condition, were taken to hospital. The injured, eight men and one woman, were aged between 18 and 31, a spokeswoman for the Royal North Shore Hospital told ABC Radio. (Reporting by Kazunori Takada; editing by Andrew Dobbie)
