A contaminated cormorant is cleaned by environmentalist volunteers, near an oil slick caused by the rupture of an undersea oil pipeline from Chile's state company ENAP on Lenga little bay, near the city of Concepcion, some 510 km (316 miles) south of Santiago June 1, 2007. The spill, which is estimated at over 2,000 barrels of oil, has seriously affected at least one community of sea lions and caused the death of different species of birds.
