An Australian Army soldier stands guard next to a house destroyed by bushfires in the town of Kinglake, 46km (29 miles) north of Melbourne, February 12, 2009. Australian police have detained two people suspected of deliberately lighting one of the bushfires that savagely swept through southeast Australia killing at least 181 people and leaving 5,000 homeless.
