East Timor rebels hand over their weapons in preparation of their surrender in Ermera district April 28, 2008. Gastao Salsinha, leader of the group of East Timor rebels accused of trying to assassinate President Jose Ramos-Horta in February, is preparing to surrender and may give himself up early this week, a U.N. spokeswoman said on Sunday.
