New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine's state-owned vehicle is hidden under local fire and rescue personnel tarps after Corzine was seriously injured in a hit and run auto accident near Atlantic City, New Jersey on April 12, 2007. Corzine was en route to a meeting with the Rutgers University women's basketball team and fired radio host Don Imus. Corzine, who was a front seat passenger and not driving the SUV, underwent surgery last night for a fractured left leg and broken ribs, said Dr. Steven Ross, head of trauma at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
