A man looks at his kitchen, the only area of his house left intact after it was destroyed by Hurricane Paloma in Santa Cruz del Sur Camaguey, Cuba November 9, 2008. Tropical storm Paloma churned over Cuba on Sunday with rapidly weakening winds and a poorly defined center. In Santa Cruz del Sur where Paloma made landfall, a 13-foot (4-metre) storm surge had pushed seawater nearly a mile (1.5 km) inland, damaging homes in an area populated by 10000 people.
