A Pashtun rides through a flooded street after heavy rain in the Pakistan-Afghan border town of Chaman June 28, 2007. Pakistan's military joined efforts on Thursday to help up to 900,000 people affected by a cyclone as more rain exacerbated flooding and hampered airborne rescue and relief operations.

Relatives and friends carry Martin Huerta Adan's coffin as leaves his home during his funeral at the village of Xonotipan in Mexico's state of Puebla, who died in a landslide July 5, 2007. Mexican soldiers have dug out more than a dozen corpses after the side of a rain-soaked mountain collapsed on a bus carrying up to 60 passengers on a remote road.
