India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh listens to Mexico's President Felipe Calderon during a briefing in Sapporo, on Japan's northern island of Hokkaido, July 8, 2008. Singh said on Tuesday he did not think the communist parties' withdrawing their support threatened his government's stability. The communists said they were withdrawing their support to protest against a civilian nuclear deal with the United States, which they say makes India subservient to Washington.
