Pro-Tibet activists participate in a news conference to denounce China in front of the Chinese embassy in Seoul April 29, 2008. South Korea's foreign ministry has voiced its concern to the Chinese ambassador in Seoul over violent incidents during the torch relay in the capital, and a police investigation is underway, an official said on Tuesday. Local newspapers ran angry editorials denouncing Chinese students who hurled rocks at groups criticising Beijing, charged into lines of police, beat pro-Tibet protesters and kicked an elderly man.
