A Hamas policeman stands guards as Palestinians wait to cross into Egypt through the Rafah border crossing in the southern Gaza Strip June 27, 2009. The Rafah crossing opened on Saturday for three days for Palestinians with humanitarian cases, a Palestinian border official said. The Rafah crossing, Gaza's only border crossing with Egypt, has largely been closed since June 2007, when the Islamist group Hamas seized control of the coastal Strip from rival Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement.
