Supporters of Chile's late president Salvador Allende hold a banner depicting him, in front of a door of La Moneda Presidential Palace where Allende's body was found during the 1973 military coup, in Santiago September 11, 2009. Friday marks the 36th anniversary of the coup d'etat in Chile that ushered in a 17-year dictatorship under former General Augusto Pinochet. Allende died in unclear circumstances during the coup.
