An official stands beside the wreckage of a passenger airplane in Mashhad, 924 km (577 miles) east of Tehran, July 24, 2009. Seventeen people were killed when the aircraft caught fire while landing at the airport of Mashhad in northeastern Iran on Friday, the state news agency IRNA reported.
