Would-be immigrants arrive on an Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) patrol boat at the AFM Maritime Squadron base at Haywharf in Valletta's Marsamxett Harbour September 3, 2008. 85 African would-be immigrants were rescued from their sinking rubber dinghy by the motor-tanker 'Johann Schulte' 97 nautical miles south-south-east of Malta and subsequently transferred to the AFM boat, when they found themselves in difficulties while on their way to reaching European soil from Africa, authorities said. The migrants claimed that five members of their group died during the crossing. REUTERS/Darrin Zammit Lupi (MALTA) MALTA OUT. NO COMMERCIAL OR EDITORIAL SALES IN MALTA
