An NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information service (NESDIS) satellite image, taken at 1:20 pm, July 23, 2008, shows Hurricane Dolly's eyewall just starting to cross South Padre Island in Texas. Hurricane Dolly hit the south Texas coast on Wednesday bearing 100 mph (160 kph) winds and lashed low-lying areas on the U.S.-Mexico border with torrential rain as it marched toward a flood-prone region.
