A medical staff take part in a strike at University Hospital Mustapha Bacha in Algiers February 3, 2010. The medical staff staged the protest to demand for better terms of employment. Their leaders said they planned to march towards the presidential administration, but police, acting on the basis of a law banning protest marches in Algeria, prevented them from leaving the grounds of the hospital.
